There’s a fierce little event coming to town this evening that I wanted to share with you. Art, apparel, music and accessories come together at the Quixotic World Theatre in Deep Ellum as part of Sugar Does Dallas, an edgy art and fashion show out of California. Sugar Does Dallas will blend L.A. and Dallas culture, unleashing the underground art and fashion scene to the mainstream on March 15, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., at The Quixotic World Theatre House Dallas (2824 Main St.).
With a photography and art showcase, interactive art performances, live musical performances, a fashion show celebrating local designers, unique vendors and more, Sugar Does Dallas, will be an edgy evening of mind blowing and unique entertainment in celebration of local art and talent.
Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public for $15.00 presale or $20 at the door on the day of the show and will be available until capacity is reached.
Hosted by Sugar founder and personality Timmery Turner, with a DJ spinning on the ones and twos, fashion designers Hilary Floyd by Hilary Floyd, Aelphie by Jiyoung Moore, Space Pearls by Kayla-Marie Brough, Adrobz by Nicoe Labry, Koohi by Monica Koohi and Totally Unique Things by Melissa Ishomon will showcase their designs on the runway in an eclectic and innovative way unlike any fashion show seen before. Gallery and Bar décor will be transformed into the works from featured artists and photographers: Jamie Rice Art , Gilstrap Designs, The Different Stroke, Sydeny Meyers Art, Epg Photography, WASTED, Amanda Mctigue, Grace Woodall, Angelivart, ARTchitect, Meghan Ramsey Jones, Michella Danielle Art, BlissObservation, Celeste Laster Photography and JUL313 with a surprise special guest musician to conclude the evening.
