Bacon and Beer Fest Is Coming to Dallas!

Two of the best things to put in your face are joining forces and coming to Dallas in festival form: The Bacon and Beer Classic will arrive in Big D on Saturday, March 18, bringing with it samples of bacon dishes, endless bacon strips (!!!) and more than 50 regional craft beers to try. Think bacon strips, bacon on skewers, bacon on dessert … and some beer. Oh, man!

While this festival has delighted visitors in other cities for years, this is the first time it’ll happen in Dallas. The Foundry in West Dallas (attached to Chicken Scratch) will host the salty-meaty-crunchy extravaganza, showcasing not just porky goodness and beer but giant Jenga, a photo booth, bacon- and suds-inspired faux tattoos and a bacon-eating contest, among other activities guest can dive into. Says Bacon and Beer Classic founder Kate Levenstien, “Dallas is a young, fun-loving city, and a dream destination for the Classic. I can’t wait to showcase the best bacon dishes and beers this city has to offer!”
